WHY: To Celebrate The ASALH Martha’s Vineyard Branch Black & White Charity Fundraising Event[Martha’s Vineyard, MA, May 7, 2024] – The Martha’s Vineyard branch of the Association for the Study of  African American Life and History (ASALH) is proud to announce an enchanting evening with Demola the Violinist, set to captivate audiences on June 19, 2024 at the 8th Annual Black & White ASALH fundraiser.

Demola the Violinist, renowned for his captivating performances, will grace the stage at the historic venue of Martha’s Vineyard to deliver an unforgettable experience. With his exceptional talent and passion for music, Demola seamlessly blends classical mastery with contemporary flair, creating a unique and mesmerizing musical journey.

The magnificent part of Demola’s musical journey began in Nigeria and brought him to the shores of America, specifically Houston, TX. His musical stylings boast influences from around the globe. His performance style melds classical proficiency of the highest caliber with the rhythmic contributions of Hip- Hop, Soul, Jazz, Afro Beats, Pop, R&B, Rock, Soca, Reggaeton, Reggae and other Caribbean Rhythmic influences in awesome combination.

Demola’s artistry draws from powerful elements from the entire music spectrum. This incredibly diverse meld will create a captivating and rousing performance of epic proportions. A Demola performance is truly something to behold, and recent repeat bookings with Music Halls all over the country, including City Winery national locations and numerous House of Blues bookings, is a testament to that. Demola is a part of the next generation of violin virtuosos, genre-bending and creating incredible music that moves people.
