The program included five remarkable compositions by renowned composers Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, and Tan Dun, each chosen to highlight Alina’s impressive technical skills and her nuanced approach to interpretation. Her sensitive rendition of Chopin’s Scherzo No. 2 captured both technical demands and emotional depth, which drew high praise from Dr. Barry Tan, Piano Assistant Professor at Pepperdine University. He described her performance as “powerful and contrasting,” commending her “beautifully shaped melodies and poised pacing.” Dr. Tan concluded, “Alina’s maturity and artistry are rare, making her performance both moving and memorable.”
