Rapper Mu Diamonds Sheds Light on How He Built His Career on His Own and the Development of Dynesty Entertainment

Several factors can hinder people from reaching their goals, and while those can play a nuisance, their fates are determined by the magnitude of their ambition. For Andre Yarbrough, his disability proved to be a colossal obstacle in his journey towards a music career. Eventually, he was able to overcome the mountain of uncertainty that had plagued him, propelling him into a successful career as Mu Diamonds and the establishment of his own label, Dynesty Entertainment.

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, Mu Diamond’s upbringing was filled with violence. But, like many in their youth, he found solace in music. By 14, Mu started rapping, sitting around with his friends and listening to instrumentals while practicing their verse with freestyles. However, the lifestyle would eventually catch up to him, and he would land himself in jail. Although life had taken a dark turn, it would only get darker when Mu found himself in the wheelchair.

“I was a victim of a drive-by shooting,” he explained, “In return, it left me paralyzed from the waist down after being shot twice. That really has been the hardest struggle of my life.”

Since the paralysis, Mu Diamonds has endured some of the worst treatment in his life. He recalls the feeling of betrayal by loved ones who left him out to dry. Yet, despite the overwhelming negativity that left Mu Diamonds in the dust, he was able to rise from the ashes and set his focus on building his career.

As a musician, the rising rapper has an arsenal of skills to propel him above the others. He also has an unparalleled determination, drive, and vision that have been instrumental in paving his path. “I see music. I don’t hear it,” said Mu, giving him a unique edge in his career. The rapper has built his reputation to great heights, performing over a decade, breaking past his goal. Mu Diamonds reached for the stars and found himself going beyond, giving him a bigger platform.

Having made it on his own, Mu decided to create a record label that could allow him to uplift others. Naming his establishment Dynesty Entertainment, the rapper has created something more than just a place of bricks and wiring to become a family-oriented group. “When you don’t have your own, then you’re subject to be part of someone else’s,” Mu said, “Being part of someone else’s (brand), you have to undergo all types of treatment. So what drives me to have my own is the whole idea of independence, because even though I was shot and disabled now, I’m still able to take care of myself. So I’m still able to be independent.”

Despite the milestones he has reached, Mu Diamonds is still hungry to go even further. While he is already a recognized name, the rapper foresees his fame going beyond and becoming a worldwide superstar. With achievements in the music industry, Mu plans to shift his focus in the entertainment business, taking part in the production of a few major films. “I see myself sitting behind the desk making executive decisions with the label of bright superstars and models in the list of hits under my belt.”
