Written by: Tedfuel

Nicki Minaj is back on the scene and looking to serve up snacks like only a queen can. So, it’s only right that the Queen of Rap would enlist some help from the King of Branding, Jai Manselle.

Teaming up with Rap Snacks, “The official snacks of hip hop”,  Minaj is launching her own potato chip flavor. Dubbed the Barbie-Que Honey Truffle Potato Chips, the snack earned its name from Queen Minaj’s fan-inspired nickname, Barbie. Store shelves will soon see the arrival of the salty treats packed in unbelievably slick pouches courtesy of Jai Manselle, the pioneering entrepreneur  and creative force behind Manselle Brands.

As an entrepreneur and brand strategist, Manselle has made a name for himself with his innovative approach and ongoing success in creative branding concepts and collabs. He has worked with major companies like Apple, Reebok, and Showtime, collabed with celebrities like Sean ‘Diddy” Combs, and his MANSELLE logo has appeared on more than 100 million products to date.

Having already partnered with musical legends like Migos, Lil Baby and Snoop Dogg on various food and drink products, Rap Snacks announced, “This is the biggest brand partnership [they’ve] done since 2016.”

The ten-time Grammy award nominee is known for disrupting industry norms and pushing social boundaries with raw lyrics, risqué fashion, and her ever-changing look. Minaj is an ideal partner for Rap Snacks, a company that likewise aims to reinvent the snack world norms.

“Nicki Minaj is unquestionably one of the most disruptive forces in the history of rap. You’re talking about a woman who rewrote the rules of hip hop culture and happens to be a phenomenal entrepreneur, as well,” Rap Snacks CEO James Lindsay said in a release, according to People Magazine. “It just makes sense that as a brand disrupting the snack industry, we align to push the bar even further. This is the beginning of a legendary partnership.”

For this new project with Rap Snacks and Minaj, the Manselle-branded packaging adopts a pink motif capturing the Queen of the Barbz flashy look, with a pink-haired Minaj adorning the front. Potentially inspired by her 2015 Pinkprint Tour, Manselle gave a shoutout to Minaj on Instagram.

“It’s only fitting that we first met working on the legendary Pink Print Tour almost 7 years ago and now, it’s time to make a different type of history,” said Manselle.

Rap Snacks products are available nationwide at Walmart Sam’s Club, Circle K, 7-11 stores and online with the Barbie-Que chips set to arrive soon. Fans should get ready for a new snack experience as Minaj is ready to up the snack game.

“EVEN YA MAN KNOW NICKIS DO IT BETTERRRRRRRRRRR,” says Minaj on  Instagram about her newest business collab.
