Drake Plans October World Weekend Featuring the Biggest Music Stars

Drake is planning an exceptional concert series he’s referring to as October World Weekend.

Held on July 28, 29 and August 1 at different venues in Toronto featuring Lil Wayne alongside other artists such as Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown, the show will be an immersive experience for fans with performances by some of today’s most famous musicians.

The show is almost ready to make their tickets available. They should be at the door by Friday.

October World Weekend is listed in a flyer for the event as part of the OVO Fest Tour.

In an Instagram post, Drake also elaborated on what it signifies: “I am currently working on bringing OVO FEST around the world in 2023 for the 10th Anniversary, but of course, we wanted to turn the city up for the summer!!! More event announcements to come.”

Drake dropped his album inspired by house, Honestly, Nevermind, last month, only hours following its announcement. It marks his 11th album to secure the top 1 spot on the Billboard 200 album charts, becoming the fifth musician to drop over 10 No. 1 albums.

Following his new track’s release, Drake released a music video for his new single, “Falling Back.” Then, only last week, he surprised fans by appearing alongside the Backstreet Boys at their concert in Toronto, playing “I Want It That Way.”
