The Humble Beginnings

Cave In started at a time when the hardcore and metal genres began crossing over with each other. Although their start in the music industry was rough, they eventually found their sound through self-discovery.

By the 90s, Cave In became one of the “metalcore” bands in the industry. However, their splits and EPs showed a young band attempting to find their place while struggling to solidify their lineup. But in 1998, they became stable enough to record in the studio their debut album.

Signing to Relapse Records

In July 2021, Cave In signed with Relapse Records. After almost a year, the band released their seventh album, “Heavy Pendulum,” with its lead single “New Reality.” A month later, they released the second album single, “Blinded by a Blaze,” with a music video released the same day. The band continued to release third and fourth singles, “Blood Spiller” and “Reckoning.”

Fans can order the album reissue online with different configurations. Each version can include a massive 4xLP or 3xCD version of the original album. Grab a copy now and relive the moments from the nineties in present-day.
