Is Zac Efron Giving Us Hints on an Upcoming High School Musical Reunion?

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat!

Zac Efron, who catapulted to stardom after starring in the High School Musical film series, has returned home. In an intriguing photo he uploaded on Friday outside of the East High set, he was in black, striking an interesting pose.

“Don’t you… Forget about me ✊🏼,” the actor who plays Troy said in the photo’s caption, citing another classic, The Breakfast Club of 1985, with the quote and pose.

The fan response to the post has been overwhelming. Even Bart Johnson, who portrayed Efron’s on-screen dad, jumped into the fun, saying, “Warms coaches ole heart to see this. Welcome home, son. WHAT TEAM!?”

It looks like something may be brewing. Vanessa Hudgens, another High School Musical star and current Disney Channel Original Series actress, uploaded an almost identical post only a month ago, but hers is a video. In the clip, she walked into the high school, turned around to the camera, and gave a peace sign.

Hudgens wrote in the caption: “Do you remember in kindergarten how you’d meet a kid and know nothing about them, then 10 seconds later you’re playing like you’re best friends because you didn’t have to be anything but yourself?”

A High School Musical Mini Reunion Doesn’t Sound Bad

High School Musical brought us two of today’s most famous actors, Efron and Hudgens. They portrayed the characters in this movie who were meant to be Troy Bolton, a basketball captain, and Gabriella Montez, an academically excellent transferee.

These films were released between 2006 and 2008 and quickly created a huge fan base for the pair – now household names of teen classics.

A Disney+ show based on HSM, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, is preparing for a season 3 premiere this coming July 27.

Efron and Hudgens have not made an appearance on the show yet, but these hints (we wish) have fans hopeful for their arrival in future episodes.

When asked for a comment, a representative for Efron did not instantly reply.

High School Musical follows a basketball team captain who is Bolton, and an academically inclined transferee, Gabriella, as they try out for parts in their school musical, prompting splits among the school’s pack.

The film series features Efron, Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, and Monique Coleman.

Better Call Saul Episode Where Bob Odenkirk Had a Heart Attack

Recently, actor Bob Odenkirk suffered a heart attack on Better Call Saul’s set.

And the public has also been informed of how he splendidly recovered and came back to filming only five weeks after to complete the finale of AMC’s Breaking Bad prequel, which he anchors.

The comedian recently revealed that it was the show’s ninth episode, “Fun and Games,” in which he had a heart attack.

But to recent revelations, that’s not exactly accurate – and Odenkirk wants to retract and correct his statement. The incident happened during the shooting of episode 8, “Point and Shoot.”

Odenkirk was acting in an important scene in Jimmy’s apartment – Lalo (Tony Dalton) drops his plans for Jimmy and Kim (Rhea Seehorn).

When Odenkirk returned, he left “Point and Shoot” to start filming “Fun and Games.” So, his being confused is quite understandable.

“Episode 9 is all stuff we shot after my heart attack, and in fact, it is the first stuff I shot,” he said in an interview with EW.

“The pick-up scenes [from episode 8] were not the first things we shot. So, in my brain, I was like, ‘Wait a second, the first things I shot when I came back from the heart attack was [episode] 9. And that’s true. Where I screwed up was like: ‘Of course, we didn’t come back and immediately just shoot what we’re shooting that day – we carried on shooting.’

“We had a different director. We had Michael Morris directing. We started in on that stuff. And then at some point in shooting that stuff, we stopped, Vince [Gilligan, co-creator of Better Call Saul who directed “Point and Shoot”] came back, and we picked up the final moments of the scene with me and Lalo and Kim. My brain just had a brain fart, and I apologize to the world.”

He adds: “But if you’re looking to compare a human being pre- and post-heart attack,” he laughs, “you’ll want to look at the scene with Kim and Jimmy when Lalo was talking to them about the plan.”

Near-Death Experiences Can Bring About Advantages

Odenkirk says he can see the light even with his near-death experience.

“I’ll just say for the hundredth time – but I’ll say it 500 more times in my life – it’s so nice that everyone cares so much,” he says while laughing.

“I thank people for caring about it, and if any good can come of it, it can be other 50-plus-year-old people getting in to see their doctor and maybe getting a double check on their heart.”

In a recent episode of the Better Call Saul Insider Podcast, Gilligan expressed his thoughts about the Odenkirk incident.

“We watched him die. I’d never seen anything like it, except for in a movie,” stated Gilligan. “When we got back on set with Bob, it was just happiness; it was just thankfulness, it was just gratitude.”

The director had only completed directing Odenkirk and Seehorn’s conversation ahead of the heart attack. They returned two months later to shoot Dalton’s side.

“It was just so good to see Bob there,” stated Dalton.

“We all saw him on the floor [after the heart attack], and it was like, ‘Oh my God, dude.’ Forget about the show. This is the worst thing that could ever happen to somebody,” he laughs. “That’s what happens when you mess with Lalo.”

Perceptions Change When a Turning Point in Life Occurs

When asked about his comeback after the incident, Odenkirk said that he always thinks “about what matters to me.”

“The impact of the incident with my heart is something that’s resonated and continues to in my life. Like today. Like through time. I think about it all the time. I think about what matters to me and how to live my life and make the most of it and value each day the most,” Odenkirk revealed.

“But the crew and the cast were really devasted by the incident because they were very present consciously, and I was not. So, for me to come back, they were extremely sensitive. Everyone was very emotional and sweet and kind – and a little too concerned,” Odenkirk laughs.

“Very worried about everything that I did… It was kind of funny and sweet and touching. And you could see it in everyone’s eyes. They were all looking at me like, ‘Is he really okay? Is he going to be all right?’ And the truth was, I was still recuperating. My stamina came back a little more every week.”

Stranger Things 4 was Supposed to be More Bleak with Max Mayfield’s Death

The ending of Stranger Things season 4 could’ve been way worse.

The Duffer brothers revealed that there was serious deliberation about whether to kill or leave Sadie Sink’s Max Mayfield alone in the final episodes of Stranger Things’ fourth season.

“It was discussed as a possibility. For a while, that is what was gonna happen,” Ross told Day.

“We wanted to end it in a little bit more of a question mark at the end of the season where it’s still really dark, and we don’t know if Max is going to be OK… We don’t really know,” he continues. “We wanted to leave it up in the air moving forward into season 5.”

Undergoing depressive thoughts while being tortured by Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower), Max looked to play as decoy and bring the demo-creature to her mind again, so her friends could kill his physical form in the Upside Down.

Sad to say, Vecna was able to kill Max, but she’s briefly resurrected by Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) – or is she?

Vecna doesn’t merely kill, he consumes his prey, sipping on the essence of their minds and souls. Max, who is in a coma, might still live; however, as Eleven finds out, her mind is void. Eleven is unable to locate Max in her own mind.

According to Sink in an interview with EW, she was unaware of the fate of her character.

“It’s definitely all up in the air right now,” she stated. “I’m just as excited as everyone else to find out where Max is and how she’s doing.”

In the original script, Enzo (Tom Wlaschiha), known as Dmitri (Tom Wlaschiha), the prison-guard who becomes friends with Jim Hopper (David Harbour), was going to die. However, the Duffer brothers decided to leave him be.

“He ended up making it,” Matt stated. “But that’s [the most] radical of a departure from the original idea versus what we ended up with.”

The Duffer Brothers also discussed how they killed off fan-favorite Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) in the finale.

“We fell in love with Eddie, we fell in love with Joe and what Joe was doing… It was written, it was gonna happen and we knew he had to die, but there’s definitely a part of me that wishes he was still around for 5,” Matt reveals.

Ryan Gosling Says He Has ‘That Ken-ergy’

Chris Evans called Ryan Gosling a Ken doll in The Gray Man, a recent Netflix Thriller film, which he means as an insult.

Even though that’s ironic coming from someone who’s literally a human action figure, Gosling, who portrays the famous boy toy in the latest Barbie film, states that it’s “not an insult at all.”

“I’m proud of that,” Gosling said in an interview with ET Online. “I have that Ken-ergy, which he could feel, obviously, when he commented to it. I still feel like the Ken-ergy is alive.”

The Ken-ergy is not only alive; it’s very well looking at you with those plastic eyes.

However, aside from being the most fantastic kind of innuendo – cheap – what really is a “Ken-ergy”? The term was created by Gosling, so it can be assumed that he would also know the definition.

Questioned about the Ken-ergy term, Gosling says, “You know what I mean… no?”

“You’ve got a Ken in your life,” he added. “And you know that that Ken has… Ken-ergy.”

Gosling then explained what a Ken is… which sounds exceptionally like a scrub: “Ken’s got no money, he’s got no job, he’s got no car, he’s got no house. He’s going through some stuff.”

With the lack of information about Ken-ergy, can he perhaps reveal something about Barbie? No other details have been disclosed. However, Margot Robbie says that it’s not what you would expect from their film together if we think anything.

“Whatever Barbie says is exactly right,” Gosling confirmed Robbie’s statement. “It’s not what you think it is unless it is. And then you know what it is, but I don’t think that’s what you think it is. Wait, what are we talking about?”

Perhaps that’s what Ken-ergy is! Complete agreement with Barbie, in addition to a sense of hazy confusion about what’s happening while being the hot dude he is. Oftentimes, action speaks louder than words.

Barbie drops on July 21, and then we’ll find out what it is that Barbie isn’t.

Bob Odenkirk Reveals a Shocking Detail About Next Week’s Better Call Saul Episode

Bob Odenkirk is contemplating a Better Call Saul episode that nearly led to his death.

Odenkirk told The Hollywood Reporter that he’s feeling “very good” and is in “great shape,” however, that following week’s episode saw him undergoing a heart attack.

“I didn’t go back to shoot for five weeks. I had a five-week break to recover. And then when I went back, we limited our shooting to 12-hour days,” Odenkirk said in an interview with THR.

“And so, they took care of me, and I was able to do it, and hopefully, you can’t tell when I had the heart attack and when I didn’t. Next week is the scene where I have the heart attack. And probably about three-quarters of the scene was shot before I had the heart attack, the day of the heart attack, and then the other quarter scene was after.”

Odenkirk, reviewing the episode, states that he doesn’t recall the entire events of that day at all, describing it as a “complete blank.”

“The strangest thing about it is that I really have no memory of that day,” he explained.

“I’m really watching something that I don’t have any memory of acting in, which is a rare thing. I mean, usually, you watch [something], and you have some recall of that even if it was shot months ago. But in this case, it’s such a complete blank. It’s very strange. I gotta tell you; it’s a weird thing to have lost basically about a week and a half. Clean, just clean, clean, nothing. That’s a strange experience, anyway. Otherwise, I’m fine.”

Meanwhile, maybe the fifth time’s the charm for his Emmy nomination. Odenkirk is particularly esteemed in light of “the intense experience of this final season of Saul shooting,” according to his statement reacting to his nod.

The actor also shouted out to his co-actor Rhea Seehorn, who portrays attorney Kim Wexler following her snagging of her first nomination.

“This show is one-of-a-kind, and I’ll treasure each of these high points; there have been so many,” Odenkirk stated, ending his comment, “and I’m thankful for everything.”

Gremlins Director Alleges Baby Yoda of Being a Mock-Up

First, it was Baby Groot. Now Baby Yoda has a quibble with the Gremlins?

Joe Dante, the director of Gremlins and its sequel, was not pleased with how far the Star Wars character got in his films. He said that this well-known green-skinned man took on too much.

“I think the longevity of [Gremlins] is really key to this one character [Gizmo], who is essentially like a baby,” Dante said. “Which brings me, of course, to the subject of Baby Yoda, who is completely stolen and is just out-and-out copied. Shamelessly, I would think.”

The Chronicle did not further explain Dante’s comments but pointed out that the director “is not one to hold a grudge” and “isn’t thinking of suing Disney and Lucasfilm.”

Gizmo is the lead Mogwai character in Gremlins and Gremlins 2: The New Batch. On the other hand, Grogu, aka Baby Yoda, was presented in the first episode of Disney and Lucasfilm’s Star Wars spin-off series.

The adorableness of Baby Yoda has made him an online sensation and created a massive merchandise opportunity.

This fall, HBO Max is premiering Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai. The new animated series stars the voice of Ming-Na Wen, BD Wong, and James Hong.

Baby Yoda has expressed his own problems with a pint-size pop culture personality, Baby Groot. On Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update in 2019, actor Kyle Mooney said he accepts that he “has his haters.”

“If I may, Baby Groot, do me a favor,” he cautioned. “Keep my name out of your little tree mouth before I snap you like a twig.”

Kate Moss Reveals What Encouraged Her to Testify in Johnny Depp’s Defamation Trial

Kate Moss testified for ex-partner Johnny Depp during his talked-about defamation trial against Amber Heard, and now she reveals what prompted her to do so.

The supermodel known for not sitting in public interviews became a rebuttal witness for Depp this May, disproving hearsay that he pushed her down the stairs. Moss told BBC Radio’s Desert Island Discs that she felt obligated to reveal the actual occurrences when asked about the reason behind her participation in court.

When asked about Depp and Amber Heard’s trial, Moss mentioned the story of John Galliano, a former Dior designer. The latter was charged with anti-Semitic abuse following his outburst of insults at a Paris bar.

“I believe in the truth, and I believe in fairness and justice,” Moss stated. “I know that John Galliano is not a bad person. He had an alcohol problem, and people turn.”

She continued: “People aren’t themselves when they drink, and they say things that they would never say if they were sober,” adding, “I know the truth about Johnny. I know he never kicked me down the stairs. I had to say that truth.”

Amber Heard Referred to Kate Moss during a Testimony

Heard said that Depp physically, verbally and sexually assaulted her. In addition, she went on record before the jury detailing his fits of anger under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

In her deposition, she implied that Depp shoved Moss down the stairs while recalling the first time she laid hands on Depp, saying it was self-defense.

“I just instantly think of Kate Moss and the stairs, and I swung at him,” Heard claimed. “In all my relationships to date, I hadn’t [delivered] a blow. For the first time, I hit him square in the face.”

The mention of Moss’s name laid the foundations for her to be summoned as a witness. In a pre-recorded testimony, the supermodel, who went out with Depp between 1994 and 1998, said Depp “never pushed me, kicked me, or threw me down any stairs.”

The two were vacationing in Jamaica when the alleged incident took place.

“We were leaving the room, and Johnny left the room before I did,” Moss testified. “There had been a rainstorm. As I left the room, I slid down the stairs, and I hurt my back, and I screamed because I didn’t know what happened to me, and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room, and got me medical attention.”

Depp Won the Lawsuit

In June, a Fairfax County jury ruled that Heard had maliciously defamed Depp when she wrote an article for The Washington Post claiming to be a domestic abuse survivor.

Depp was granted $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages. However, shortly after the declaration, the judge lowered the punitive damages to $350,000 – the statutory cap in Virginia.

On the other hand, Heard gained a small countersuit win of $2 million in compensatory damages. And last week, her team filed a motion to appeal the verdict.

“We believe the court made errors that prevented a just and fair verdict consistent with the First Amendment,” said a spokesperson for the Aquaman star. “We are therefore appealing the verdict. While we realize today’s filing will ignite the Twitter bonfires, there are steps we need to take to ensure both fairness and justice.”

Megan Thee Stallion Releases Latest Single ‘Pressurelicious,’ Featuring Future

Megan Thee Stallion has released her newest song, “Pressurelicious,” just as expected. It includes guest vocals from Future.

Megan has been giving sneak peeks at the single since last month. However, she officially revealed the release date and single art on Wednesday on her social media handles.

The song has HitKidd as producer and dropped three hours ahead of a usual midnight release: “since it already leaked lol,” Megan elaborated.

In a cover story interview with Rolling Stone, Megan talked about her next album and teased “Pressurelicious” for the first time, talking about Future’s contribution to the new single.

“He’s just so fucking ratchet!” Megan said in the interview with Rolling Stone’s Mankaprr Conteh.

“He is unapologetically himself. I appreciate that about anybody who gets up and has to do anything in the public eye. Anybody who has to read about their life online every day and deal with so many energies and can put it out into their music and do it gracefully, I feel like you deserve your flowers,” Megan further said.

In April, Megan performed at Coachella in Indio, California, for the first time, in which she announced a new song while on stage. She revealed the track “Plan B” not long after it and dropped a music video with Casey Cadwallader and John Miserendino as directors.

The 27-year-old rapper has also been honored with her own day in her birthplace, Houston, where she was given the key to the city.

She also recently plunged among many artists who expressed their protest during their shows about the revocation of Roe v. Wade.

Megan Thee Stallion: Good News to Pressurelicious

Megan Jovon Ruth Pete, famously known as Megan Thee Stallion, gained her first thousand followers after her freestyling videos went viral on social media like Instagram.

She inked contracts with 300 Entertainment in 2018, releasing the 2019 mixtape titled Fever and the 2020 extended play Suga: The two ranked in the top ten of the Billboard 200.

The rapper dropped her studio album debut Good News in 2020, which earned rave reviews from critics, maintaining a spot on year-end best album lists.

Megan gained her first and second top-ranked songs on the US Billboard Hot 100 for the singles “Savage,” featuring Beyonce, and her feature on “WAP” by Cardi B. “WAP” was her first number one in numerous countries and the Billboard Global 200.

Six years of her career brought her countless accolades: a Billboard Women in Music Award, two MTV Video Music Awards, three Grammy Awards, four American Music Awards, five BET Hip Hop Awards, and six BET Awards.

She bagged the second spot for a female rapper to snag Best New Artist in the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards, following Lauryn Hill in 1999.
