Peyton Reed Reveals Tiny Detail about Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

The biggest announcements come in small panels at Comic-Con in San Diego.

The cast and director of Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania revealed the tiniest details about the forthcoming third installment in the Ant-Man trilogy, giving their objectives for the film.

“We were thrilled to get to do a third Ant-Man movie and do a trilogy,” said filmmaker Peyton Reed in an interview with EW.

“And we knew if we were going to do that, we wanted to do some things differently. We really wanted to take a hard left turn and make a movie that was even more epic, but still, progress the story of these family dynamics and everything that’s going on between Scott and Hope and Cassie.”

Reed continued, “Cassie is now 18 years old, and maybe Scott doesn’t quite know how to relate to her as an adult because he lost those five years because of the events of Endgame.

“And we also knew that we wanted to put our heroes up against a very, very formidable opponent. I grew up reading the comics, and I knew the characters of Kang the Conqueror, who’s one of the big, big bad characters in the comics, so to be able to put up our heroes against Kang the Conqueror was a huge thing for us. We went big, and we also went small.”

Scott and Cassie Face a Mutual Ground Challenge After 5 Years of Not Seeing Each Other

Paul Rudd, who plays Scott Lang slash Ant-Man, reverberates his thrill for the movie’s more expansive reach.

“It’s such a fun part to play, and I’ve loved every time I’ve got to play Scott. We knew the scope of this thing was going to be different; we’re going up against Kang, which adds in a whole other element. Cassie is now older. There are things we got to explore and re-live from the first two films, but this was going to be a whole new thing – and it felt like it shooting it.”

When family dynamics were mentioned, Evangeline Lilly (Hope) and Kathryn Newton (Cassie) were thrilled to butt in. Lilly compares Hope to the Grinch, saying that her heart has grown significantly since the first film.

Newton further mentions the challenges of Scott and Cassie reaching a mutual understanding.

“Cassie is different,” she stated.

“We’ve seen her five years later. She hasn’t seen her dad in a while. She’s little more grown-up. He’s kind of just a mess. She doesn’t know much. She’s just like me. She’s messing up all the time. She loves her dad. She does; she doesn’t admit it, but she does, and I think that’s at the heart of it, and I hope people can feel that.”

Comic-Con Saw a Footage of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania First

Marvel showed the first clip from the movie on Saturday in Hall H. In the footage, Scott was fighting against Kang (Jonathan Majors), who debuted in Loki last summer. It also delved into the quantum realm, where the film is mainly set.

“We finally get to spend some time in the quantum realm,” stated Reed at the presentation.

“We have a lot in store for these characters in this movie, and we’re going to meet a lot of new characters in this movie and explore the quantum realm, which is not always what you think it is, so we’re really, really excited to bring it to life.”

The clip also teased that, when we last saw Scott, he had written a book about his Avenger adventures, titled Look Out for the Little Guy. However, Cassie remains disinterested.

Ultimately, all the main characters – Scott, Cassie, Hope, Janet (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Hank (Michael Douglas) – get drawn into the quantum realm.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to drop on July 28, 2023.

Comic-Con 2022: A Huge Comeback

Comic-Con is back, and it’s better than ever!

The highlight of this year’s Comic-Con is all about Dungeons & Dragons, Teen Wolf, and more.

Sarah Michelle Gellar joined the cast of Teen Wolf at this year’s Comic-Con

SMG has given us a comeback to the supernatural TV universe.

She’ll appear in an upcoming spin-off show called Wolf Pack; she said while joining Thursday’s Hall H panel for Teen Wolf: The Movie

“Everyone knows that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was a huge influence on Teen Wolf,” said creator Jeff Davis on stage. “So, I always thought it would be amazing if we could bring Sarah Michelle Gellar back to a horror show.”

The Paramount+ show chronicles the journey of four teenagers brought together by a werewolf bite. Gellar, who serves as executive producer, becomes part of the cast alongside Bella Shepard, Armani Jackson, Tyler Lawrence Gray, and Chloe Rose Robertson as investigator Kristin Ramsey.

Regé-Jean Page Says he ‘Had the Best Ass of My Life’ During the Production of Dungeons & Dragons

When Regé-Jean Page stepped onto the stage, he caused a fiery turmoil among Paramount’s Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves panel.

“I had the best ass of my life,” he confessed while laughing, crediting his huge tush to countless strenuous workouts wielding swords.

The fans of his TV performance are sure to keep the movie in check, to be released on March 3rd, 2023.

Hugh Grant and Michelle Rodriguez are among other actors who will star alongside Page. Grant even supported Page’s statement: “You could wash clothes on ’em!”

Dungeons & Dragons’ Hugh Grant Discloses His Being a Dungeon Master

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves stars – Regé-Jean Page, Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, and Sophia Lillis – discussed details about their new film with EW. The stars disclosed how comfortable they were with the role-playing game.

While they had different encounters, Grant shocked everyone when he jested that he was a dungeon master of some sort.

“Well, I was a Dungeon Master,” Grant stated ruefully, adding, “but it was more S&M and less D&D. It’s the English version.”

Keke Palmer Glows in the Red Carpet

Photo: Self

Keke Palmer is a glowing example of someone with charisma on the red carpet. Thanks to the actress’s full booking in film roles – she stars in three feature movies and quite a few TV shows this year – she has countless red carpet appearances.

Palmer never disappoints. Her enthusiasm for each photo op is contagious, and she always knows how to work that camera.

On Monday evening, Palmer did it again at the Nope LA premiere. She has been talked about in the media for her performance in the latest project by Jordan Steele.

Palmer stunned the red carpet with a va-va-voom-filled, Y2K grunge runway outfit by Marc Jacobs. The trendy look had a corset top, the designer’s favored Kiki platform boots, and a skirt – a low-slung one.

Low-rise is an everlasting trend that will never go out of style, according to Palmer.

“Mama likes to lengthen her torso at all times,” the actress says. “And that’s on God.”

A Fashion Reunion We Never Want to Miss

Keke called on LA’s styling pair, Wayman and Micah, for help with her new look. But, of course, they had ties before: Wayman and Micah dressed Keke from 2014 – 2016, when she anchored Just Keke, a BET talk show, ahead of parting ways to engage in different interests.

“Through the years, we always kept in contact,” Wayman says.

When the six-year hiatus was coming to an end, Wayman and Micah, who styled Regina King, Tessa Thompson, and Tiffany Haddish, wanted to urge Keke into taking a new direction for their reunion.

In Nope, Palmer is always “covered up” and styled “very relaxed.” Hence, the two began the concept of contradicting the character’s usual dress-up.

Style Could Build a Whole Palmer

When Palmer heard about the outfit’s concept, she knew it would be perfect for her big night.

“I loved that this look made me feel fierce immediately upon putting it on!” she states.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Marc and his artistry for years, so I jumped at the opportunity to wear one of his designs for the premiere. It made me feel powerful and effortless at the same time, which is very hard to do. In the end, the entire look, mixed with my braids, really felt futurist yet classic – which I thought was perfect for the Nope premiere and fit the theme of the film.”

We are counting the days until Palmer’s next appearance. She always comes up with stunning red carpet looks, and we can’t wait to see what she has in store for us this year.

However, the most important lesson she learned from the constant uproar of press tours is, “Sometimes less is more.”
