The Christopher Brothers Talks Journey Toward the Limelight and New Track “Hold On”

Carving a path toward the highly competitive and saturated music scene can be an arduous, rewardless, and lonely journey, but not for the alternative pop/punk/rock band The Christopher Brothers. Made up of three brothers hailing from Los Angeles, California, this power trio has navigated the complex waters of the industry together, feeding off from each other’s passion and wielding each other’s strength to establish a name for themselves and stand out among a sea of talented and dedicated musicians. Highly expected to reach greater heights in the years to come, the promising act has dropped a new standout track called “Hold On” and is gearing to release more songs sometime soon.

Multi-talented and driven, the brothers Cameron, Charles, and Ethan were exposed to music early. With parents who were both performers in the entertainment scene, an opera singer for a grandfather, and a grandmother who was a pianist, it doesn’t need to be said that their family lives and breathes the craft. Eventually, they fell in love with a specific instrument and found what they were best at, getting together at their mother’s suggestion of forming a band.

It didn’t take long for The Christopher Brothers to find their footing and start showcasing their potential. At the ages of 15, 13, and 10, Cameron, Charles, and Ethan wrote their first song, “Smile,” and gave people a glimpse of their talent during elementary school events and parties. From there, they would grace weddings, college gigs, and clubs over the years, impressing audiences with their original compositions, as well as their covers of classic hits. All throughout, the passion-fueled trio remained steadfast, persevering amid the odds and doing what’s needed to move forward on their journey, including selling their CDs on the street and working for tips to get their hands on band equipment.

Ultimately, their hard work paid off, and their innate talent as musicians allowed them to gain a solid foothold in the music industry. The California natives, who performed “A Tribute To The Beatles” and sang the iconic tracks of the legendary act when they were 11, 14, and 16, inched closer toward the limelight by appearing on the X Factor and making it to the top 20 groups. Highly praised by Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato on their original song, “Smile,” the Christopher Brothers demonstrated their incredible ability to write music that is able to capture the attention of listeners.

While it’s been more than a decade since they formed their band, Cameron, Ethan, and Charles have yet to unveil all they can bring to the table. On top of their first album, Dog Daze, which featured the single “Let Me Out” that debuted at the seventh spot on Billboard’s Hot Singles Sales Chart, they are set to expand their discography and release more songs in the near future.

So far, the band has solidified its reputation as self-producing musicians, especially with the release of the new track “Hold On.” The standout single will soon be followed by the release of “Campbell’s Song,” another composition expected to highlight The Christopher Brothers’ appeal as a rising act.
