In the vibrant landscape of upcoming artists, there’s a new sensation on the rise—Cat Serrano, a high school student with a passion for music that’s about to make waves. Hailing from Puerto Rico, Cat has been immersed in the arts for the majority of her life, and her journey is now reaching a crescendo with the imminent release of her debut singles, “You Don’t Know Me” and “When You Love Me.”

Cat’s musical journey began long before the recording studio. “I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. Music has been my constant companion, helping me express emotions and connect with others,” she shares. Despite her young age, Cat’s commitment to her craft is palpable.

In the summer of 2023, Cat embarked on a transformative journey, stepping into the world of music production to work on her first two singles. “Creating these songs has been a labor of love. Each note, each lyric, carries a piece of my story,” she confides. Set to release in March 2024, the singles promise a glimpse into Cat’s soul, showcasing her versatility and artistic depth.

Beyond the studio, Cat Serrano is a high school student juggling the demands of academia with her burgeoning music career. She emphasizes the importance of balance and determination: “It’s about staying true to your dreams even when faced with challenges. Fear and nerves are part of the journey, but you have to push through.”

Cat draws inspiration from a diverse array of artists, but her true role models are closer to home. “My mom is a self-made businesswoman in STEM, and my dad is an amazing radiation oncologist. Their perseverance has taught me and my sister to always focus on our careers and go after our dreams,” she notes, highlighting the familial support that fuels her ambition.

Her upcoming singles, “You Don’t Know Me” and “When You Love Me,” reflect Cat’s desire to convey a positive message. “Despite what is happening right now, good things are coming. That’s a message I want people to feel when they listen to my music,” she asserts.

Cat envisions her music resonating with a demographic spanning 13 to 30-year-olds. “I want my audience to connect with the emotions I pour into my music. I hope to build a community where people grow together and connect with each other,” she explains.

As Cat gears up for her debut, her favorite quote, “Good things are coming,” serves as both a personal mantra and a message to her audience. She encourages aspiring musicians to start now, emphasizing the importance of taking that first step toward their dreams.

In the coming years, Cat envisions herself on tour, performing to a diverse audience eager to connect with her and each other through her music. With a blend of talent, determination, and a positive outlook, Cat Serrano is set to make her mark on the music industry, and her debut singles are just the beginning of what promises to be a remarkable journey.
