Born and raised near Fort Worth, Texas, Justin Mason is an embodiment of multifaceted talent. His life story is as diverse and compelling as the music he grew up with — a tapestry of genres spanning multiple generations. Influenced by country legends like George Strait, Alan Jackson, and Garth Brooks, as well as iconic acts like the Eagles, James Taylor, and Billy Joel, Justin’s musical journey is deeply rooted in variety and richness.
In the early days of his real estate business, Justin felt an irresistible call to music. He took up guitar, and within six months, he formed a band. They soon began performing at local gigs and private events, marking the start of Justin’s professional music career. His debut EP, “Done Me Wrong Songs”, was released in 2015, followed by a self-titled EP in 2016. A series of successful releases followed, including singles like “My Friend Tito” and compilation album “The First Five Years”. His latest album, “Blue Texas Skies,” was released in February 2022. Today, Justin’s music is a regular feature on radio stations across Texas and nationwide.
But Justin’s accomplishments extend beyond the music stage. After serving the United States Navy as a K9 police officer for five years, he returned to Texas to earn his bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. His commitment to public service led him to serve the City of Arlington as a police officer for six years.
In 2012, Justin traded his police badge for entrepreneurship, launching a real estate company with his wife, Theresa. This venture saw a significant leap in 2020 when they merged their brokerage with Magnolia Realty, owned by renowned home design and renovation duo, Chip and Joanna Gaines. Alongside his musical and real estate careers, Justin and Theresa co-own Vine Academy, a private school in Grapevine, Texas.
