Domani Patron on Turning Darkness into Light through Music and Being Persistent

The journey from obscurity to greatness comes with sacrifices, a great deal of determination, focus, and resilience. All of these are the characteristics that King Domani Patron embodies and has applied to his life’s journey.

The music producer from PG County, Maryland, has slugged it out with life in the United States since he was five. Born in Jamaica into a musical and Christian family, Domani Patron began his music journey by playing drums and bass in the church’s band. In his teenage years, he took an interest in music production, and ever since, he has grown as a producer and built a brand out of his talents and abilities.

King Domani Patron is known for his unique sound and his ability to infuse his range of musical influences, including hip-hop, R&B, and Caribbean music together. He has released eight instrumental albums that are all available for streaming on all major music streaming platforms.

Music for Domani Patron is his true love. “No matter what life throws at me, I always find my way back to music because it is the only thing that gives me solace and peace. I was hands-on with all musical instruments before I had a motorcycle accident in 2007. Despite that, I never turned my back on music, it only reduced the number of things I could do,” he revealed.

King Domani Patron operates his music career under his own imprint called Domani Patron Music Group, which is still undergoing the trademark registrar action process. He hopes to flesh out the company to become more than just a music group. He hopes to build a whole entertainment company out of it and play a significant role in helping other talents rise to their fullest potential. Domani Patron draws inspiration from successful producers like Kanye West, Dr. Dre, and 40; and he hopes to attain the heights they have attained and even surpass them.

Outside music, Domani Patron plans to launch a clothing line, employ a team of creative people, and show the world that anything is possible if a person is willing to make it happen. His entire life journey has not been all that smooth, but he’s willing to put all of it in the past and forge ahead into the future. He expressed, “I have experienced struggle and been through the worst things that life could throw at anyone, but I am filled with light and music helped make that light shine even brighter. Today, the past is unimportant as there’s so much to do in the future and so many goals to smash.”

Over the next few years, King Domani Patron plans to work with more filmmakers, YouTubers, game designers, and musicians. His unorthodox style and diverse range of heavy bass beats have set him apart, and he intends to share that with many talented and gifted people in the entertainment industry. Taking immense pride in his story and journey, Domani Patron wants to instill the mindset of doers in as many people as possible that read or hear his story.

“No excuses, no such thing as trying. It’s either you do or you don’t. That is my mode, and I try to ingrain it into my team. Trying only happens after you have given up and that means whatever you are trying to do is not done. So, instead, I just focus on doing until it’s done,” he said.
