This is not a drill. Bruno Mars is pulling up to Midtown Atlanta this weekend, and he’s doing it twice. The 16-time Grammy Award-winning performer brings The Romantic Tour to Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26, with both shows kicking off at 7 PM. Tickets are still available through Ticketmaster and AXS.

For a city that has been watching Mars sell out residencies in Las Vegas and rack up global hits without a proper tour since 2017, this weekend is long overdue.

His First Stadium Tour in Nearly a Decade

Produced by Live Nation, The Romantic Tour is the first full headlining stadium tour by the Grammy Award-winning performer. The tour spans nearly 40 shows across North America, Europe, and the UK, marking one of the biggest global outings of the year.

The tour began on April 10, 2026, in Las Vegas, and is set to conclude on December 8, 2026, in Mexico City. It is Mars’ first live performance since his Park MGM residency in 2025 and first tour since the Bruno Mars Live tour in 2022–2024.

The Romantic Tour set the record for the highest first-day ticket sales for the Live Nation pre-sale in North America, leading to an additional 32 dates being announced on top of the original 39-date run. That demand makes Atlanta’s two-night stop one of the most anticipated weekends on the entire North American leg.

The Album Behind the Tour

After nearly a decade without a full-length project of his own, Bruno Mars is officially back. The singer released his fourth solo studio album, The Romantic, on February 27, 2026, marking his first solo release since 24K Magic in 2016.

The tour announcement followed a stretch where Mars never truly left the spotlight, instead choosing carefully timed collaborations and performances that kept his momentum steady while anticipation quietly built. His recent singles “Die With a Smile” featuring Lady Gaga, “Fat Juicy & Wet” with Sexyy Red, and “APT.” with ROSÉ dominated global charts and helped set the stage for his solo return.

Atlanta fans can expect a set built around the new album’s material alongside a catalog of hits that has few rivals in pop music — “Uptown Funk,” “24K Magic,” “That’s What I Like,” “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Just the Way You Are,” and more. Mars is known for his band, The Hooligans, performing with him live, and for a choreography-heavy stage show that draws comparisons to James Brown in its energy and precision.

Who’s Opening

Joining Mars across all dates is nine-time Grammy Award-winning artist and Silk Sonic collaborator Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee. Additional support will be provided by Victoria Monét, RAYE, and Leon Thomas across select markets.

For the Atlanta dates, Leon Thomas is confirmed as support. Anderson .Paak is going to be getting things started in his DJ facet, and by the time Bruno Mars takes the stage, the crowd will already be in a frenzy.

Leon Thomas is coming off one of R&B’s breakout years — his presence on the bill is a genuine opening act, not a formality. The combination of Thomas and .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee means the full show runs deep from the first minute.

Why Bobby Dodd Works for This

For The Romantic Tour, the stadium will be configured for a concert setting with a main stage, floor sections, and tiered seating throughout the bowl. Its Midtown location provides easy access via MARTA (North Avenue Station) and is surrounded by restaurants, hotels, and Atlanta attractions.

Bobby Dodd at 55,000 capacity sits in a different tier than Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which is part of what makes these Atlanta dates feel different. It’s a stadium tour at a stop that’s not a massive venue, and it’s going to allow fans to feel close to Bruno no matter where they are inside Bobby Dodd Stadium.

That intimacy matters for a show like this. Mars is not a distant figure behind a screen. He performs at audiences, not to them — and a Midtown stadium that puts the crowd closer to the stage plays directly into what makes his live show work.

An Exceptionally Stacked ATL Concert Weekend

The April 25–26 Bruno Mars dates land directly after Baby Keem’s two-night Ca$ino Tour run at the Coca-Cola Roxy on April 19–20, and just before Jon Batiste’s Chastain Park appearance on April 25. Atlanta is not easing into concert season this spring — the city is in full swing.

For fans who have been waiting years for Bruno Mars to come back on the road, this weekend is the moment. Bobby Dodd Stadium. Two nights. Atlanta.

Tickets for both April 25 and April 26 shows are available now at Ticketmaster.com and AXS.com.
