Herbert Welch Growing from a Small-Town Boy to a Global Figure

Herbert Welch’s story is a story of determination and the right mindset. Growing up in a small town like Mount Dora, Florida, where he grew up as part of the west community, it was difficult to get out. The challenge right from a young age was all about trying (extra harder than kids his age elsewhere) to become more significant than what was set in mind by the community. He always knew that he would overcome those challenges and show the world that small-town people are not necessarily defined by where they live. They could also dream of a life beyond what they have, and with hard work, the life they dream of could become reality.

Herbert listed John Legend, Future, TI, and Rod Wave as some of his musical influences. According to him, these artists gave him the strength to begin writing his songs. Herbert expresses himself and his feelings using his lyrics, words, and phrases that perfectly describe what he is going through. He thinks he is doing a great job because he is not only expressing himself the way he wants to, but the world is also hearing what they deserve to hear.

When describing his journey so far, Herbert said, “I grew up with an imagination of becoming more than just a small-town boy. As kids, our parents, friends, people of the community, and teachers always told us that confidence is key and that we should always believe in ourselves. I took those words to heart.”

As soon as he became 16, Herbert started his modeling program called Welch modeling, which allowed kids, teenagers, and young adults to build confidence and learn the basics of runway and print. “I did this to help others and build my confidence to stand up and be the man I am today!” he shares.

Nowadays, he focuses more on music. As he explained, “I believe and have grown up knowing that music can help everyone with a simple beat or line. Music takes the mind and soul where the heart and body cannot. Growing up, I sang in church, and from the time I started talking till now, I have noticed that music is the one way that all can connect.”

On what separates him from his competition, he said, “The way I go about everything I do. I do it to make a statement to change the way this world is today for kids who found themselves in a similar situation as mine; my music speaks about so many things that people can relate to, which is a whole different level of respect for music.”

In five years, Herbert sees himself in a position where he helps other people get to the point where he is at the moment. He also plans to become a motivational speaker and mentor, especially to young people who hope to make a career in music or entrepreneurship. According to him, he used to be at the point where he reached out to people for help, and now, he wants to be able to help someone else.

KashKito Sheds Light on His Musical Journey and Recent Album

Being passionate about a creative endeavor is an important characteristic to have in pursuing dreams and accomplishing goals. Just recently, KashKito released Parental Advisory 2, an album reflecting the lack of parental guidance he experienced during his childhood. The album consists of thirteen songs with various producers and features Juju Gwala, an upcoming artist.

His raw thoughts and feelings are proof that he is just like everybody else. Thus, he is known for creating relatable pieces that resonate with as many people as possible.
