Upcoming Rapper Caron AKA Ronnie Making Waves in the Rap Scene

Most five-year-old’s thoughts revolve around what snack to eat next or what show to watch. But at that age, Timothy Kirksey was formulating his dreams of becoming the next rap icon. Since then, he has come a long way from being the little dreamer to the man realizing them today.

Timothy goes by the stage name Caron AKA Ronnie. He was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but raised in Lawrence and Lowell areas. Timothy is the middle child in a big family of 10 children. His father, also his namesake, Timothy Lanier, was his biggest inspiration in pursuing music. When he was still a baby, his father would make Timothy listen to compositions. Eventually, he taught him how to sing and play the keyboard.

Timothy regarded his father as an amazing musician. Although he never sold arenas or scored record deals, Timothy saw the immense passion his father had. And so, the artist strived to make him proud by practicing to perfect his craft. Timothy developed a particular liking for rap and hip-hop music when he was ten years old. At a young age, Timothy knew what he was capable of and where he wanted to be.

It wasn’t until the year 2019 when Timothy decided to take his music career to the next level. He persistently looked for opportunities to bring him closer to his goals. Timothy remained hopeful throughout his journey. One thing that people around the artist always admired about him was his positive outlook in life. He carried a certain air of optimism even in the toughest times of his life.

The rapper recently dropped the intro to his EP called Changed. His track “I Got Heart” has garnered thousands of views on his social media platforms. It reached rap enthusiasts earlier this year accompanied by his first music video shot by 1iVisuals.

Timothy’s creativity is world-class. Sometimes, his work even surprises him. Every day he learns something new from his experiences, and his learnings reveal an undiscovered part of him that contains originality and talent. Timothy’s ideas come from the most unexpected places. His artistic brilliance is matched with an unparalleled work ethic that makes him one of the most promising rappers in his generation.

“My music isn’t just for one set of audience; it’s for everyone,” Timothy said as he stressed his intent to become a global artist. The rapper understands that music is one of the things that connect people all around the world. He envisions his tracks to reach and entertain diverse listeners in multiple countries.

Timothy wants to inspire aspiring musicians like himself to pursue their dreams. In his own words, Timothy said, “Giving up isn’t an option. If you want it, then you have to get it.” He wants his fans to connect with him not only as an artist but as a person.

The talented rapper aims to be at the top of his game. He said he doesn’t plan on turning back now that he has come a long way into his journey. Timothy knows that his hard work would soon pay off. He remains humble and patient as he waits for his vision to flourish.  Learn more about Caron AKA Ronnie through his Youtube channel.
