Uno Paper Boi Becomes a Symbol of Hope as He Breaks Away from Poverty to Pursue a Career in Music and Entertainment

Everyone strives for a better lifestyle but often find themselves struggling to overcome the hurdles standing in their way. Some people get overwhelmed and yield, throwing away their chance to build the life they want and settling down into their comfort zones. Uno Paper Boi never had the luxury of settling down. He continued to push on, determined to succeed and build a career as an actor and musician. Today, Uno Paper Boi is closer to achieving his dreams.

Born in Riverside, California, Uno Paper Boi entered the world in a poverty-stricken environment. Growing up, he was always thinking of ways that he could ease his family’s struggle. Uno Paper Boi found solace in the extreme sport of skateboarding, and he started to polish his skills. However, he and his family would move to Atlanta, broadening his horizon and seeking other passions. Uno Paper Boi grew particularly fond of music and acting, as the lifestyle of artists and celebrities lured him in.

By 2006, his journey began as he joined several casting calls to play extras in movies. Although the ultimate goal was to land roles as the main character, he persisted, believing that his patience would be rewarded.

“What motivated me was watching TV,” Uno Paper Boi shared, digging into his past and recalling some fond memories. “I was always telling myself that I wanted to be in there (on the screen) so people could see me showcase my talent one day.”

Although he was determined to make it in entertainment, he decided to spend most of his free time delving into music when he was not in auditions. He took on the stage name Uno Paper Boi, juggling between music and acting. Despite the competitive nature of the music and entertainment industry, he has remained consistent in his endeavors, producing music and finding minor roles in multiple projects.

As an artist, Uno Paper Boi exerts his maximum effort into each track. His music style mixes rap and R&B, showcasing his multifaceted skills to reach the ears and hearts of fans of both genres.

“I’m currently waiting for the release of my new album titled Thinkin Bout Money,” revealed the all-around entertainer. “This project will feature some heavy hitters in Atlanta, releasing on June 20.

With his dreams inching closer than ever before, Uno Paper Boi has contemplated how the move to Atlanta changed his life, allowing him to pursue both passions simultaneously. Having come from a difficult background, Uno Paper Boi strives to inspire others who are going through the same trials and tribulations that he once faced.

“I make music for people who have the same background as me,” Uno Paper Boi elaborated. He has taken responsibility as a symbol of hope, showing his listeners that if he can make it, so can they. “I want the youth to know that dreams don’t have to be dreams. You can make them your reality. If you put in time and work, you can make it possible.”

As his music career has been going steadily, Uno Paper Boi foresees a successful career as an actor. “I see myself at the Oscars and many other awards for nominations with some of the top names in music and acting.”
