Kim Kardashian’s new skincare line has been heavily criticized for its similarities to another well-known celebrity brand.

On Thursday, the reality star announced her latest venture, SKKN BY KIM, a nine-product skincare line – elaborating that she’d designed the items “so that everyone can feel confident in their skin.”

However, only a few hours following the announcement, many social media enthusiasts alleged that it strongly resembled an Skn by LH, a beauty line released by American model Lori Harvey the previous year.

Page Six reports outpouring comments surged on social media, pointing out the visible similarity.

“Anyone with a fully developed brain and a pair of working eyeballs can clearly see that S-K-N and S-K-K-N is the same,” wrote an Instagram user, according to the publication. “You could be so creative with your kids’ names. Now all of a sudden, you lost creativity? … At this point, it’s pretty much giving copy and paste.”

The same handle indicated that 41-year-old Kardashian “has a history,” as a Twitter user alleged the reality show star of “stealing from a black woman for the thousandth time.”

“Why would kim do a line called SKKN when lori Harvey has SKN. who’s [sic] bright idea was that?” another user said.

Another critic has asked: “Did Kim Kardashian really name her skincare like SKKN because LoryHarvey already took SKN??”

Kardashian’s line is expected to drop on June 21, eight months following Steve Harvey’s model daughter’s drop of her five-step line.

Unlike her sister Kylie Jenner’s skincare line, Kim’s skincare line is on the higher end of the scale, fans craving to purchase all products at $870.

“It’s definitely more prestige, and in order to get the types of ingredients that I would not really miss out on, it was kind of a necessity,” she said in an interview with NY Times. “I tried to get the quality for the best price that we could, especially the vitamin C serum.”

The most exciting thing about the SKKN line is that it’s refillable. You can get 15% off when you buy a replacement pod, so your packs will last longer and cost less.

Kim made her brand lean more on a go-to neutral theme for the packaging, while Lori’s set is a bright teal. However, even with that slight difference, critics claim the products have a pretty strong resemblance.
