Harry Styles Overcomes Technical Difficulties with Resilience and Adaptability at Grammys

Harry Styles and his talented dancers had a unique challenge to overcome during their performance at the Grammys on Sunday.

The performance of the song “As It Was” was set to take place on a rotating stage, but due to a technical malfunction, the stage rotated in the opposite direction.

Despite this unexpected twist, the dancers were able to adapt to the situation and perform the routine in reverse, leaving audiences impressed with their quick thinking and impressive skills.

Choreographer Dexter Da Rocha took to TikTok to discuss the ten-day rehearsal period, during which the routine was practiced to perfection.

Despite their hard work and preparation, the dancers found themselves facing a new challenge on the night of the performance, but they were able to rise to the occasion and perform with grace and poise.

Dancer Brandon Mathis expressed his surprise at the unexpected turn of events in an Instagram Story, stating, “there was nothing we could do to stop it.” Despite the unexpected challenge, the performance received praise for its unique twist and the talent of the dancers, who continued to perform with energy and skill.

“To switch all those patterns around on the spot, having not even walked in that direction, it sounds easy,” Da Rocha stated in the TikTok.

“Since it’s circular, it pulls you in different directions and is such a special type of balance. We got accustomed to one way, and it was the opposite way. Luckily we worked together and did our best and got to one cool formation in time for the overhead shot, but had to change the rest.”

The stage was set up with a rotating platform and a team of dancers, reminiscent of the “As It Was” music video.
