Los Angeles, CA – Photojournalist Kyle Stevens has been booked as a featured guest speaker at this year’s KCON in Los Angeles. Stevens, known for his work documenting the wildly popular K-Pop industry, will speak about his experiences and insights at a panel discussion along with Isabella Salant. Attendees will get the opportunity to learn all about the behind-the-scenes stories from a photographer’s point of view on how the amazing photos of their favorite group members get taken and published.

Stevens has been working as a journalist for over 8 years in New York City, and he has covered the Korean entertainment industry extensively. He has photographed some of the biggest idols in the K-Pop game today including Jungkook, j-hope, (G)-IDLE, BIBI, P1Harmony, and many more.

Stevens’ impressive photo work has been seen by millions of readers in high-end publications including People Magazine, The New York Post, and The Guardian. He currently freelances with Shutterstock Editorial as an assignment photographer, capturing iconic photographs of A-List celebrities in the entertainment industry. From red carpets to stadiums, Stevens preserves stunning visuals that hardcore fans just can’t get enough of.

The photojournalist is excited to share his experiences and insights with KCON attendees and aspiring concert photographers. “I’m honored to be invited to talk about my work and answer questions from eager fans at this year’s KCON out in LA,” Stevens said to the Music Observer. “I think it’s important for people to understand the behind-the-scenes process of how their favorite images come to life. The goal for my upcoming trip to California is to help kickstart the careers of the next generation of photographers. I have a feeling that my journey in this crazy business will inspire a new wave of creatives who are seeking to get their feet in the door. If you’re out in California or planning a trip to KCON, this is a workshop that you won’t want to miss. I have a whole lot to say, and you’ll be able to truly pick my mind during my appearance at KCON.”

The upcoming KCON panel discussion featuring Kyle Stevens will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Admission to the panel is free with the purchase of a KCON ticket. KCON is the world’s largest Korean cultural convention and music festival. KCON features a variety of events, including concerts, dance competitions, fashion shows, and exhibitions. It also attracts a large number of celebrities, including K-Pop stars, actors, and models. The epic three-day convention will run from July 26 – 28.

“This year’s KCON is going to be on another level. Getting the opportunity to share the stage with Isabella is a real treat. She’s another incredibly talented photographer, and I’m thrilled to be in the mix of everything,” Stevens continued to say in an interview with the Observer. “In particular, the BTS Army has been incredibly supportive of all my work over the last year, and I’m thrilled that I’ll get the chance to talk about the truly unforgettable stories behind the viral photographs that helped put me on the map in front of a large audience. If you’ve been following my journey over the years, this upcoming moment is the culmination of all of the sacrifices and hard work I’ve tirelessly been putting in. This honor is not lost on me, and I am eternally grateful for the opportunity. Who knows, maybe a public speaking tour across the United States will follow after my KCON appearance. Hey, you’ve got to give the people what they want,” the K-Pop photographer laughed.
