Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady Now Lives Separately, According to a Source

Power couple Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, who wed in 2009, are on a rough street.

Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl quarterback who currently plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and his wife, a fashion supermodel, Bündchen, have had “marital issues,” according to a source familiar with the couple

The couple are now “living separately,” according to another source close to Bündchen.

The 45-year-old quarterback recently retired from the NFL in February, but has changed his mind and is back in the game. His head coach Todd Bowles said he took 11 days off from training camp in August to “deal with personal matters.”

In an interview published this week, Bündchen, 42, told Elle magazine that she had “concerns” about her husband’s return to the field after initially deciding to retire last winter.

“This is a very violent sport, and I have my children, and I would like him to be more present,” Bündchen revealed to the publication.

“I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for [them]. He needs to follow his joy, too.”

Brady Talks Priorities

In an episode of his Let’s Go podcast with co-host Jim Gray on Tuesday, Brady shared the effect of his decades of playing in the NFL on his priorities.

“I haven’t had a Christmas in 23 years, and I haven’t had a Thanksgiving in 23 years, I haven’t celebrated birthdays with people that I care about that are born from August to late January. And I’m not able to be at funerals, and I’m not able to be at weddings,” Brady revealed to Gray.

“I think there comes a point in your life where you say: ‘You know what? I’ve had my fill, and it’s enough and time to go on, to move into other parts of life.’”
