Roxana Line, a Master Musician Behind the Marriage of Emo, Pop-Punk and Broadway

Among the sea of talented artists in today’s highly competitive and saturated music industry emerges Roxana Line, an outstanding musician whose unique pieces bring together the best of different genres.

Hailing from Los Angeles, this songwriter, and producer extraordinaire seamlessly blends emo, musical theatre, and pop-rock influences into a self-contained, easter-egg-filled universe of musical masterpieces. The expertise with which she manages to produce such intricately crafted tracks can be credited to her long-established affinity towards music.

For as long as she can remember, Roxana Line has always loved to sing and belt out her soul. At an early age, she made it known to her mother that she wanted to pursue a career as a musician. Unfortunately, her family did not have the resources to provide her with expensive lessons or hire somebody to lend her a hand at writing music. Despite facing these limitations, the idea of giving up her dream was never part of the options, so she explored the alternative.

Writing and producing everything on her own, Roxana Line became intimately familiar with the hardships that come hand in hand with the process of growing the seed of one’s art and hoping it grows into a creative amalgamation of their imagination, passion, and talent. But in the process, she found fun and discovered that what seemed to be a roadblock has transformed into the core of her artistry.

Now, as a powerhouse within the industry, Roxana Line has established a reputation for the excellence with which she writes and arranges her songs. It is also notable how, shortly after she penned her first song at the age of thirteen, this multi-talented personality assembled her first band to help her perform original music and organized two more throughout her high school and early college years.

This esteemed musician is recognized as well for incorporating emo music into her phenomenal discography. When asked about her artistic focus, she shares, “Powerful angst-filled music and decadent mysteries have proven to be timeless. From the 1830s Penny Dreadfuls to modern-day horror films, people of all ages have enjoyed spooky stories and dark themes in all branches of art. I’m bringing all of that together with my vision of music, lyrics, art direction, and story-filled music videos.”

Currently, Roxana Line is the brilliant mind behind tracks characterized by energetic emo and pop-punk tunes and theatrical/Broadway elements. On October 23, her new mystery-filled single called “That’s the Way You’re Giving Up” will be on its way to people’s playlist, the release of which will mark the first in a series of songs that will tell the story of a young girl from the 1800s who is traveling through the dark corners of the underworld after a series of tragic events.

From her meticulous work ethics, clear vision, and distinctive storytelling, every aspect of the kind of artistry that Roxana Line possesses is of incredible standing. It is no wonder that she has taken center stage and amassed achievements in the over a dozen competitions and talent shows that she was a part of. Last February 24, 2020, her single, “Paper House,” made it into the 2019 International Songwriter Competition’s semi-finals, rising above 16,000 submissions.

Roxana Line hopes to find herself on Broadway in the coming years, both as a playwright and a performer. In the meantime, she will continue to release quality albums and tracks, cementing her name further within the music scene.
