Ntune Entertainment Group Provides an Effective Platform for Struggling New Hip-Hop Artists

New music artists struggle with a lot of challenges when they start their careers. For many, financial resources are scarce, making them unable to rent a decent recording studio to produce a single. For others, there is the issue of needing to make a living aside from singing or playing instruments in order to survive. Ntune Entertainment Group is changing the plight of many new artists as it opens its doors so they can produce good music and get their much-needed promotion and exposure at the same time.

Founded in 2013 by Philadelphia’s power couple of hip-hop, NTG and Yung Draw, Ntune Entertainment Group is an independent platform where new artists can get the support they need to produce their brand of music. The independent label is designed to be affordable for new artists who lack the resources to produce and promote their songs.

“We noticed there wasn’t really a platform for the kind of music we make, and we wanted complete creative control. We want to make and release the music we love. We also wanted to help other artists like us who want the freedom to rock out on our terms,” the power couple shares.

NTG and Yung Draw are real-life lovers as well as real music and business partners. The two met in August of 2011, and they immediately acquired the label SpittaGang. As their chemistry is undeniably strong on and off the stage, the two ended up not only making beautiful music together but also making beautiful memories as an iconic couple in the hip-hop world. Their influence in Philly’s hip-hop community is truly remarkable as they have earned the respect of their peers over time. Their seriousness with their craft is evident in the quality of their music.

They have successfully worked alongside other artists, including Tone Trump, Legendary Hip Hop artist Kurtis Blow, DJ Too Tuff of The Tuff Crew, Hip Hop Artist Cyhi The Prince (signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music and Def Jam Recordings), to mention some. Philadelphia’s Power Couple also co-produced an independent showcase with Air It Out Radio featuring DJ Drewski of Love and Hip Hop New York and Hot 97.

Philadelphia’s Power Couple have been featured in magazines like XXL Magazine, Hip Hop Weekly Magazine, The Hype Magazine, Up Next Magazine, and  Street Motivation Magazine. They have also been featured on popular hip-hop sites, such as Hip Hop Dx, This Is 50, All Hip Hop, Hip Hop Since 1987, Hip Hop Vibe, and others. And they’ve done radio appearances with Coast 2 Coast , 98.5 Fm The Wire, Cali’s Best Radio Show, The Magnetic Mixtape, Air It Out Radio, Gloca Wear Radio, The Real Deal Radio, and many more.

The unique ability to do collaborative work made them realize that they could use their influence and creativity to help launch new artists in the industry. Having the freedom to create their own music as they want to and the liberty to market their albums in strategic ways are some of the things they get to enjoy after establishing Ntune Entertainment Group.

Just recently, NTG and Yung Draw exclusively released their new album on their website. The album titled, I Am NTG, is filled with strong messages on love, hope, unity, the reality of pride, and knowledge of self in communities all over the world. The album hopes to bring light to pressing social issues that more people should be aware of.

The two well-respected figures in Philadelphia’s hip-hop scene see themselves doing a world tour in the future. One of their primary goals is to be able to perform on a world stage that will reach a large audience like a Woodstock for hip-hop. The ultimate goal would be to share their music and express a strong message that will open their audience’s eyes to the world’s harsh realities.
