Kate Gala on Bringing Comfort and Promoting Mental Health Through Music

Ironically, the numerous channels that have emerged in the past decades due to the advent of technology have made some people feel more isolated. Despite the presence of social media and other various platforms designed to foster global connections, a significant number of individuals are left feeling unheard and alone. This reality pushed singer and songwriter Kate Gala to use her gift and serve as a source of comfort to listeners worldwide.

Born and raised in the Virginia Beach area, Katherine Galantich, better known as Kate Gala, is an emerging artist ready to make big waves in the music industry. From a young age, she has always had an affinity for rhythms and beats, expressing interest in music and teaching herself how to play the guitar as a way of expanding that interest. And growing up, she admired the songwriting style of Taylor Swift and enjoyed listening to the works of the greatest artists in the scene, such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Nicks.

A light-hearted individual with ambition, this young musician began writing songs in high school. Kate Gala turned to songwriting and the solace that can be found in music to cope with teenage struggles, acknowledging the importance of opting for healthy and non-toxic mechanisms to deal with life’s stressors.

However, as much as Kate Gala was cognizant of how essential it is to avoid seeking therapy at the bottom of bottles, life after college took a toll on her mental health. It was getting sober and that sparked the realization that working a job she has no love for is not the only option available, and her dreams are viable possibilities that could become realities if she works hard for them.

And now, Kate Gala is bringing her childhood passion for music with her on the journey toward success. Rising as a must-listen artist, she is on track to making a name for herself, armed with the mission to use her platform as a channel to promote a healthy lifestyle for the mind and body. Most importantly, by penning heartfelt lyrics, she plans to remind listeners that no one is alone and that they can draw strength from her music in times of weariness.

With her artistry and likeability, Kate Gala has succeeded in building a growing fanbase composed of people who have found her genuine songs and positivity appealing. And she is expected to attract more listeners, especially those who are fans of the music styles of Selena Gomez, Julia Michaels, Chelsea Cutler, Halsey, and Katy Perry.

As a musician who writes her own lyrics, this mental health advocate translates real-life joys and struggles into beats and words. And this ability to create music whose core is characterized by authenticity serves as one of her competitive edges, distinguishing Kate Gala from the rest of her peers in the music industry.

In the coming years, this future household name who takes pride in her humble beginnings looks forward to finding her songs in the playlists of more people worldwide and branching into the modeling industry. And with the release of her next single called “I Hope You Know” on September 18, 2020, the music scene will be introduced to Kate Gala’s brand of artistry.
