Musician Ezra Furman has revealed her latest album, All of Us Flames, with a video for her new song “Forever in Sunset,” directed by Noel Paul. The LP will be released on August 26 through Anti-.
Additionally, the 35-year-old songwriter revealed a set of new tour dates.
“Forever Sunset” comes after the past singles “Book of Our Names” and “Point Me Toward the Real.” The newest album is produced by John Congleton.
“This is a first-person plural album. It’s a queer album for the stage of life when you start to understand that you are not a lone wolf but depend on finding your family, your people, how you work as part of a larger whole,” Furman said of the new album. “I wanted to make songs for use by threatened communities, and particularly the ones I belong to trans people and Jews.”
A press release states that All of Us is part of a trilogy that includes Transangelic Exodus in 2018 and LP Twelve Nudes in 2019.
