Elton John, the 76-year-old “Rocketman” himself, had a minor incident while at his property in Nice, France, over the weekend. Are you serious? The “Tiny Dancer” phenomenon took a little tumble and ended up in the hospital, where not even the fanciest rhinestone-encrusted walkers could help!

Ever the showman, Elton was escorted to the orthopedic center of the Princess Grace hospital in Monaco for some preventative TLC. Fans should not panic, though, as his representative assured them that it was only a tiny hiccup. A representative for Sir Elton (yep, the knighted legend) assures us that he had been released and is back at his French residence, all in one wonderful, sparkling package.

We all know that Elton John is accustomed to being in the spotlight. This musical legend has been enjoying the French Riviera this summer with his husband, David Furnish, and their two children. The slipping event aside, it’s like a living page out of a stylish celebrity lifestyle magazine.

However, let’s not linger on the mishap. Elton has been serenading us for more than 50 years, and his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour finally came to an emotional conclusion in Scotland in front of countless numbers of his devoted admirers.

Lovelies, don’t forget that the man has a lion’s heart as well. He discreetly battled prostate cancer in 2017, but like the real musical hero he is, he conquered that challenge while arranging his farewell tour.

Elton John stumbles, but he gets back up and is ready to thrill the globe with his timeless classics or even some brand-new melodies.

Elton John treated in hospital following fall at French home

After falling at his house on the French Riviera, Elton John was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Near his home in Nice, the 76-year-old singer received overnight care for minor wounds at the orthopaedic division of the Princess Grace hospital center in Monaco.

According to a representative, the visit was “a precautionary measure,” and after “check-ups,” he was quickly released and is now back at home and in good health.

After his ambitious and continually prolonged farewell tour, Farewell Yellow Brick ad, came to a close on July 8 at Stockholm’s Tele2 Arena, John has been unwinding in France.

It had started in September 2018 and was initially scheduled to end in 2021. According to John, the moment had come to get off the road so that he could completely embrace the upcoming significant chapter of his life. I should invest more time in raising my kids.

But the Covid-19 pandemic first put an end to the trip, which was later extended with more dates. He performed at 330 concerts in all, including a historic headlining show at Glastonbury festival. The tour’s set selection was specifically designed to include a long list of his greatest hits.

He recorded The Lockdown Sessions, an album of faraway or socially distant collaborations with musicians including Stevie Wonder, Lil Nas X, Stevie Nicks, Gorillaz, and Metallica, during the break from touring in the Covid lockdowns. John collaborated with Dua Lipa on the song Cold Heart, which peaked at number one in the UK and 12 other nations.
