Before the theatrical release of Trolls Band Together on November 17, a brand-new Trolls video game has hit the market. Available both in physical stores and through online vendors as of October 27, DreamWorks Trolls Remix Rescue is priced at $49.99 and can be found on Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target.
This local multiplayer co-op game, supporting up to four players, is a 3D adventure platformer where you can take on the role of beloved Trolls like Poppy, Branch, and Guy Diamond. The objective is to traverse the Troll Kingdom on a gallant mission to rescue the realm. The game is compatible with Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PS4.
Developed by Petit Fabrik and published by GameMill Entertainment, DreamWorks Trolls Remix Rescue incorporates engaging mechanics and “Hair-Jitsu” techniques to vanquish foes. These include hair-based actions like whipping, smashing, grabbing, pushing, pulling, and twirling. The gameplay is somewhat reminiscent of Sega’s Ristar, but with a focus on hair instead of extendable arms.
Additionally, the game allows you to design and personalize your own Troll character. With a plethora of options for hairstyles, facial expressions, attire, and other features, the customization possibilities are virtually endless. The game also includes a variety of rhythm-centric mini-games and puzzles that, when completed, unlock special items, new capabilities, and customizable attributes for your Troll character.
DreamWorks Trolls Remix Rescue is available for purchase at the price of $49.99 for Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and Xbox Series X.
